MRC Harwell Institute is an international leader in the study of mammalian models to study genetics and human disease.
The opening and development of the new Advance Unit prompted MRC Harwell to commission World Wide Group to create a new film to showcase their purpose built facility which offers versatile laboratories, practical training rooms and conference and event space.
Working closely with MRC Harwell, we developed a dynamic and engaging film which appeals to the intended audience in an interesting and informational way. As the new facility is still being developed there are plans to re-visit and add to the film later this year to capture some additional shots of the new facilities and also to capture some external shots of the Oxfordshire countryside to give it a sense of location and really appeal to an international audience.
As the filming so far took place within the laboratories of the research facility, we had to adhere to strict procedures which included submitting production equipment for 24-hour quarantine in a sterile environment.
