Sustainability Policy

World Wide Group provides a fully integrated visual communication service that plans, creates, produces and delivers strategic global solutions. We are passionate about sustainability and are committed to supporting our corporate clients to reduce their carbon footprint through live event streaming and virtual attendance.

We recognise that our daily operations and event-related activities inevitably impact on both the environment and social progress and we are committed to minimise these effects and fully comply with legislation.

To demonstrate our commitment, we have developed a comprehensive Policy Statement, appropriate to all our operations and activities. This policy enables us to set objectives towards sustainable development which can be measured and monitored regularly to ensure continual improvement against set targets and our principles of sustainable development which include Inclusivity, Integrity, Transparency and Stewardship.

All Director’s & Management have responsibility for socialising this policy, ensuring that requirements are being met, and for the co-ordination, evaluation of on-going performance and all team members working according to the World Wide Group’s Core 4 values: Integrity, collaboration, professionalism, delivery. In particular, we will:

  1. Ensure appropriate resources will continually be made to ensure the implementation of this policy in full, and throughout the supply chain and lifecycle of the event. As a certified woman-owned enterprise and proud member of WEConnect International, we also seek to build the principles of sustainable procurement and supplier diversity into all our employment, marketing and purchasing activities.
  2. Discuss this policy and related sustainability issues with all employees, conduct training programmes and commit to leadership and the sharing of best practice. Facilitate employee-led Corporate Social Responsibility programmes and enable the activation of chosen objectives. Meet and where appropriate, exceed the requirements of all relevant legislation relating to the aspects identified. Where no regulations exist we shall set our own exacting standards. Work with our suppliers and sub-contractors to develop a sustainability purchasing policy. We will adopt a partnership approach to identify and achieve sustainability objectives in conjunction with our identified stakeholders.
  3. Seek to reduce the following:-
    • Consumption of materials in all operations, giving consideration to the event and product life cycle, re-use rather than dispose of wherever possible, and to promote recycling and the use of re-cycled materials. Whenever practicable prevent pollution and harmful emissions and their impact on ecology. Noise, visual and other impacts on the local environment, the consumption of water and energy negative social and financial impacts, through the promotion of fair contractual terms, local sourcing, stakeholder well-being and equality. When making travel arrangements we will consider the most sustainable options and use public transport wherever possible.

Additionally, this policy will be made available to all interested parties at all times.
